Imaginations Gone Wrong. (or Right)

September 6, 2008

Imagine being in a world controlled by someone else’s imagination. Their would be car crashes everywhere. People holding scissors and randomly stabbing themselves would be commonplace. Rape wouldn’t be such a big deal anymore. To put it lightly, dragons=forest fires. A rather grim world, full of things we externally perceive as bad, but internally common harmless thoughts. They remind us we are human.

I’d like to clarify that this man controlling everything is just a common man, with no extraneous abilities, and for all we know he might be oblivious to the fact that he has great influence in the happenings of the world. Now, this doesn’t make him god. Just an average person thinking average thoughts about average things, but they actually come true.

This may sound crazy, but it is entirely possible. For all we know, we could just be a figment of someone’s imagination. Or we just created our own “reality” to try to explain what’s going on, but we really have no idea in the slightest. So lets be open minded, and believe something other than church dogma or a red, white, and blue piece of cloth. Maybe in ourselves? In the power of our own interconnected minds? In coexistence? Believing in the possibility that we are wrong about everything?
